DISNEY'S NEWSIES

"NEWSIES" is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

Vienna Youth Players is back this summer with the Disney dance sensation, "Newsies!" This classic traces its roots back to the Newsboy Strike of 1899, where newsies — boys and girls who sold newspapers on the street — went up against two newspaper publishers, Joseph Pulitzer of the New York World and William Randolph Hearst of the New York Journal, to fight for the chance to earn a livable wage. Newsies takes this real, life changing event to the stage with an explosion of energetic music and dance.

All performances are at the Vienna Community Center.
Tickets go on sale June 3 and may be purchased for $18 at the Vienna Community Center or online at www.viennava.gov/webtrac.
