POTOMAC EAGLE SCENIC RAILROAD - 241239

Join us for an authentic Appalachian railroad journey across the scenic countryside of Romney, WV to see American bald eagles in their canyon home. An excursion highlight is the iconic view into the Trough Canyon at Sycamore Bridge as we cross the historic South Branch Potomac River. On the 3-hour narrated historical round trip we will immerse ourselves in nature on an open-top Gondola car with timeless scenic views. While on board we will have a wonderful dining experience including meatloaf with scalloped potatoes, mac & cheese, baked BBQ chicken, vegetable lasagna, served with green beans, cole slaw, and a dessert. This trip is in conjunction with the City of Fairfax Young at Heart Senior Center. Transportation will be a 55-passenger bus with a restroom.
